Gemma finished her Speech Therapist studies in 2003 (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Then she majored in voice treatment at Ramon Llull University attending at the postgraduate course about Voice Disorders and at the postgraduate course in Estill Figures for Speech Therapists (2004)  at the same University. She obtained her CMT certificate in 2010 with the CCI Helen Rowson, and became the first spanish speech therapist with this certificate.

Gemma works freelance, collaborating with some speech therapists centers as well as music schools and choirs since 2004. She has studied piano for 10 years. Now she sings with the Esclat Gospel Singers choir, where she also works as a vocal coach.Now she collaborates with the Dra. Casanova and Dr. Ferran voice team in Barcelona, one of the most important voice centers in Spain.

Diplomada en Logopèdia per la UAB el 2003, s’especialitzà en patologia vocal a la Universitat Ramon Llull realitzant el Postgrau en Intervenció Logopèdica en els Trastorns de la Veu i el curs de nivell 1 d’Estill Voice Training Systems per a Logopedes (75 hores) .Obté el CMT al 2010 amb la CCI Helen Rowson, sent  la primera logopeda de l’estat a obtenir aquest títol.

Des del 2004 treballa per compte propi, col·laborant amb diferents centres de Logopèdia, escoles de música i alguns cors. Ha estudiat piano durant 10 anys. Canta amb els Esclat Gospel Singers, grup del qual també n’és l’assessora vocal. Actualment forma part de l’equip de la Dra. Casanova i el Dr. Ferran a Barcelona, un centre de referència a nivell estatal en el tractament dels problemes de veu.
