Behind-the-mic at the EWVS 2025:

Sasha Divain (EMT) and Olga Golubtsova (EMT), will present How I Became a Vocal Rehabilitation Specialist as an Estill Master Trainer at the 12th Estill World Voice Symposium.

Sasha Divain is a Vocal Rehabilitation Specialist, Founder & President of the DIVAin International Voice Association & International Association of Teachers of Singing, and American Voice Academy by DIVA in Manhattan.

Olga Golubtsova, PhD, Vocal Rehabilitation Specialist, DIVA & IATS Professor, and Expert at the Academy of Conscious Sounding in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In their session, Sasha and Olga will share how their journey as Estill Master Trainers became the foundation for their qualification as certified Vocal Rehabilitation Specialists. They will highlight:

– How EMT certification supported their work with singers facing complex vocal disorders, including in clinical settings;
– How the Estill Voice Model enabled effective communication with medical professionals;
– How their Estill training helped them meet the standards required to earn this advanced professional degree;
– A selection of complex, real-life case studies from their rehabilitation practice.

This presentation will illustrate how the Estill Voice Model empowered them to bridge the gap between vocal pedagogy and clinical care — ultimately benefiting not only their careers, but also the students and patients they serve. Don’t miss this insightful and inspiring session!
