Estill Voice International is proud to announce that Marie-Catherine Bouchard of Quebec City, Quebec, has achieved the prestigious status of Estill Mentor & Course Instructor (EMCI) — one of the highest certifications awarded within the Estill Voice Training® community.

Marie has built a remarkable career as a teacher, performer, and vocal coach. For over a decade, Marie-Catherine has taught in a wide range of educational settings — from individual coaching to group workshops — and currently holds a full-time faculty position in jazz singing at Cégep de Ste-Foy. Her previous teaching roles include positions at Arquemuse Music School, Cardinal-Roy High School, and Cégep de Trois-Rivières.

Marie-Catherine first encountered Estill Voice Training® in 2011 and became an Estill Master Trainer (EMT) in 2017. Since then, she has taught Estill-informed workshops and courses in Quebec and abroad, guiding countless singers, actors, and educators toward greater understanding and control of their voices.

Now, as an Estill Mentor & Course Instructor (EMCI), Marie-Catherine joins an elite group of international voice professionals authorized to teach official Estill Voice Training® Level 1 & 2 Courses and mentor certification candidates. The EMCI designation recognizes not only advanced expertise in Estill’s scientific and pedagogical model but also years of service, mentorship, and leadership within the global Estill community.

When asked what she loves most about Estill Voice Training®, Marie-Catherine shared:

“I love Estill Voice Training because it gives us the power to control our voice and allow us to deliver all the aesthetic sounds and emotions we want.”

Her greatest professional challenge, she notes, is helping students break out of vocal “boxes” and rediscover freedom in their sound:

“I want people to explore all the possibilities of their voice and stop being ‘in a box,’ or sounding ‘the way they traditionally should.’”
