Part 1: Special Topics Course

“Was That Right? The Value of Visual Feedback for Voice Training & Treatment”
April 17, 2027 | 2:00–4:30 PM
Pittsburgh CLO Academy & Online via Zoom
Registration: $75 USD

Led by Kimberly Steinhauer, President of Estill Voice International and creator of Estill Voiceprint™, this interactive session explores how visual acoustic feedback enhances the way we train, teach, and rehabilitate the voice.

Estill Voice Training® provides a shared technical language and precise control of vocal structures. Estill Voiceprint™ adds a powerful new dimension—allowing users to see vocal function in real time, confirm choices, and refine coordination with clarity and efficiency.

Through focused demonstrations and applied discussion, participants will explore how visual feedback supports learning and clinical insight across key Estill structures and voice qualities. Whether a singer asking “Was that right?” or a clinician guiding a client toward healthier coordination, this course demonstrates how visual feedback accelerates learning, deepens understanding, and strengthens outcomes.

This session is ideal for professionals seeking an evidence-based, functional approach to integrating Estill Voice Training® with Estill Voiceprint™.

About the New Estill Voiceprint™

Estill Voiceprint™ is a browser-based, real-time acoustic analysis tool designed to enhance the multidimensional “see, hear, feel” approach of Estill Voice Training®.

The new platform allows users to:

  • View a narrowband spectrogram with harmonic resolution

  • Monitor pitch with a piano-based interface

  • Track brightness, clarity, and loudness through intuitive visual widgets

  • Display, record, and playback voice samples

  • Integrate directly with Estill Figures and Voice Quality training concepts

Accessible through any modern web browser, Estill Voiceprint™ eliminates the need for software downloads, expanding global access for singers, teachers, and clinicians. By layering real-time acoustic feedback over Estill’s established structural training framework, Voiceprint™ supports more efficient practice, stronger self-assessment, and deeper technical understanding.

The launch represents a significant step forward in Estill Voice International’s mission to advance vocal empowerment through research-based training and practical application.
