Course Description

Esta descontraída masterclass vocal no Club Farense em Faro, com o cantor profissional e formador vocal Stefan Holmström (MFA e Estill Master Trainer), é uma oportunidade para trabalhar sobre a sua técnica no sentido de resolver problemas vocais e alargar o leque de possibilidades de escolha artística dentro do seu estilo específico de atuação.

Iremos explorar as competências de voz, de estilo e de performance num ambiente seguro, com aplicação prática do Estill Voice Training (EVT) a canções de todos os géneros (por exemplo: música clássica/ópera, teatro musical, jazz, pop, fado e folk).

Doze participantes ativos terão a oportunidade de interpretar em palco uma música à sua escolha acompanhados por Pedro Calquinha, um dos pianistas acompanhadores mais requisitados do Algarve.

A quem se destina

As vagas para participantes ativos destinam-se a cantores de nível intermédio e avançado de todos os géneros. As vagas para observadores sdestinam-se a todos os cantores e a qualquer pessoa interessada em aprender mais sobre a arte do canto ou sobre o Estill Voice Training.

Como participar

Existem duas maneiras de participar:

 Observador: Os observadores aprendem com o feedback que os participantes ativos recebem durante as apresentações e as sessões individuais.

Participante ativo: Doze participantes ativos participarão de exercícios em grupo e terão a oportunidade de cantar uma canção à sua escolha. Cada participante receberá treino pessoal e feedback especializado durante um período de 20 minutos.

 

Importante: ao fazer a inscrição, os participantes ativos deverão especificar:

  • uma canção e o seu tom
  • uma questão vocal específica na qual gostariam de trabalhar

This relaxed vocal masterclass at Club Farense in Faro with professional singer and vocal coach Stefan Holmström (MFA and Estill Master Trainer) is an opportunity to work on your craft to solve vocal problems and broaden artistic choice within your specific style of performing.  

We will explore the voice, style and performance skills in a supportive setting with practical application of Estill Voice Training (EVT) to songs from all genres, for example classical/opera, musical theatre, jazz, pop, fado and folk. 

Twelve active participants will have the opportunity to perform a song of their choice on stage accompanied by Pedro Calquinha, one of the most in-demand accompanists in the Algarve.

Who it's for

Active participant places are aimed at intermediate level to advanced singers of all genres. Observer places are for all singers and anyone interested in learning more about the art of singing or Estill Voice Training.

How to participate

There are two ways to take part:

Observer: Observers learn from the feedback that active participants receive during performances and individual coaching.

Active participant: Twelve active participants will take part in group exercises and have the opportunity to perform a song of their choice. Each participant will receive personal coaching and expert feedback during a 20 min slot. 

 

Important: When booking, active participants must tell us:

  •  their song and key
  • a specific vocal issue they would like to work on

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon completion of this workshop. This certificate is not a requirement for Trainer Certification in Estill Voice Training®.
