This 3-hour intensive workshop introduces singers to the practical application of Estill Voice Figures within the stylistic and emotional demands of Mandopop singing. The course focuses on developing vocal control, stylistic flexibility, and expressive authenticity by adapting Estill’s functional voice concepts to contemporary Mandopop repertoire.  

Participants will explore key Estill Voice Figures—such as True Vocal Folds, False Vocal Folds, Thyroid Tilt, AES and more —and learn how they shape tone, dynamics, and emotional delivery commonly heard in Mandopop. Through guided exercises, listening analysis, and song application, singers will gain tools to achieve clarity, warmth, emotional intensity, and sustainable vocal production without strain.

This course is suitable for singers, vocal coaches, and educators seeking a structured yet genre-specific approach to Mandopop technique, blending scientific vocal understanding with artistic expression.

Learning Outcomes

  • By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
    • Understand core Estill Voice Figures relevant to Mandopop singing
    • Identify common Mandopop vocal qualities and the Estill configurations behind them
    • Apply Estill techniques to improve tone consistency, control, and emotional expression

本 3 小时课程 旨在引导歌手将 Estill 声音结构（Estill Voice Figures） 实际运用于 华语流行音乐（Mandopop） 演唱中，回应其独特的风格与情感表达需求。课程重点在于透过调整 Estill 的功能性发声概念，帮助学员在当代华语流行曲目中建立更稳定的声音控制、风格弹性与真实的情感传达。

学员将深入探索多项关键的 Estill 声音结构，包括 真声带（True Vocal Folds）、假声带（False Vocal Folds）、甲状软骨（Thyroid Cartilage）及 AES，并学习这些结构如何塑造华语流行音乐中常见的音色、动态变化与情绪表现。透过引导式练习、聆听分析及歌曲实际应用，学员将掌握在不造成用嗓负担的前提下，实现清晰度、温暖音色、情感张力与可持续发声的方法。

本课程适合希望以系统化且具风格针对性方式学习华语流行演唱技巧的歌手、声乐教师与教育工作者，结合科学的声音理解与艺术性的音乐表达。

This tailored introductory experience may focus on a specific audience or an advanced deeper dive into EVT® for Level 1 & 2 course participants or certification candidates.
