Estill Voice Training® Level 1 & 2 – Tampere, Finland | June 10–13, 2027
Join us for the official Estill Voice Training® Level 1 & 2 course in Tampere, Finland, June 10–13, 2027, taught by two highly experienced Estill educators and Estill Mentor & Course Instructors (EMCIs): Dorte Hyldstrup, EMCI-ATP-SD, and Antti Annola, EMCI.
The course is taught in English, making it accessible to both Finnish and international participants. As one of the instructors is Finnish, participants are also welcome to ask questions in Finnish when needed.
Estill Voice Training offers a research-informed and highly practical approach to understanding, controlling, and developing both the singing and speaking voice.
Level 1 introduces the Figures for Voice Control™, the fundamental building blocks of healthy and versatile voice production. Level 2 explores how these Figures combine to create the Six Voice Qualities™, providing practical tools for artistic expression across a wide range of vocal styles.
The course includes lectures, small-group practical sessions, Open Session teaching, and extensive listening and voice analysis exercises.
This course is ideal for singers, singing teachers, actors, speech and language therapists, voice coaches, public speakers, and anyone interested in learning more about the voice—from enthusiastic beginners to experienced professionals.
Your Instructors
Dorte Hyldstrup, EMCI-ATP-SD
Dorte Hyldstrup has worked professionally with the voice as both a singer and teacher for more than 35 years. She has taught voice at leading institutions including the Rhythmic Music Conservatory, the Danish National Academy of Music (DKDM), the Institute of Music Science, music schools, and numerous professional training programs throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
Since 2000, Dorte has taught more than 200 Estill Voice Training courses across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, and Greece.
Her journey with Estill Voice Training began in 1988, when she travelled to New York to study directly with Jo Estill, the founder of Estill Voice Training. In 1991, she organized the very first Estill course in Denmark and had the privilege of working alongside Jo Estill as her assistant for the following nine years. Today, Dorte is recognized as one of the World's most experienced and respected Estill educators.
Antti Annola, EMCI
Antti Annola is an Estill Mentor & Course Instructor (EMCI), singer, and voice pedagogue from Finland. He is the first Finnish EMCI and has been teaching Estill Voice Training® for more than a decade.
Antti has taught voice at universities and other educational institutions across Finland, including the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, working with singers, actors, and other voice professionals.
Alongside his teaching career, Antti is widely known as the tenor of the internationally acclaimed Finnish a cappella group Rajaton. His performing career spans classical singing, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary commercial music, including collaborations with numerous symphony orchestras across Europe and North America.
In his teaching, Antti combines extensive performing experience with modern, evidence-informed voice pedagogy.

Step 2: You will receive an invoice for the course fee by email within a few business days. Your place is confirmed once the course fee has been paid.
Please note that the Estill Voice International resource fee is paid separately during registration directly to Estill Voice International.

Registration & Cancellation Policy
Course registration is binding. Course fees are non-refundable if the participant cancels their registration or is unable to attend the course. However, participants may transfer their place to another person, subject to the waiting list, if applicable.
The Estill Voice International resource fee is non-refundable.
The course instructors reserve the right to cancel the course due to force majeure or insufficient enrolment. In such cases, participants will be offered a place on another Estill Voice Training® Level 1 & 2 course whenever possible. If this is not possible, the course fee will be refunded in full.
Please note that the Estill Voice International resource fee cannot be refunded in the event of a course cancellation, as participants receive access to the Foundations of Estill Voice Training® online course once the fee has been paid.

Registering for this course will automatically create an Estill Voice Online Academy account for you (if you do not already have one) and enroll you into all components of the Level 1 & 2 Course: 1) the self-directed Foundations of Estill Voice Training® 2) the live online or on location Figures for Voice™ and Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ led by a certified EMCI.
If you already have an Online Academy account and/or purchased Foundations of Estill Voice Training®, continue with registration using your Online Academy user email. Do not purchase Foundations again.

Level 1: Foundations of Estill Voice Training® & Figures for Voice™ teach the Craft of speaking and singing and employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles. Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ combines Figure options from Level 1 to produce six voice qualities--Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belt. This course offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy.

This completely self-directed online course will introduce you to our unique and powerful system for training the voice.

A Level 1 & 2 Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon completion of this Level 1 & 2 Course. This certificate is one of the requirements for Trainer Certification in Estill Voice Training®.
