Notes from your Trainer

This intensive online EFP Certification Pathway is ideal for everyone who has completed an Estill Level 1 & 2 Course and wants to proceed with Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) certification.

Led by Stefan Holmström EMCI over 10 sessions, you will work through all Level 1: Figures for Voice and Voice™ and Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ with a focus on the 26 tasks that form the EFP exam.

Numbers are strictly limited to 10. This means you will get tailored feedback on your own practice and benefit from listening to your course mates working on the same tasks as you. With targeted practice between sessions, this focused pathway will put you in a strong position to proceed with an EFP exam.

Each 120-min session includes:

  • Review of anatomy, physiology and acoustics

  • Review of Level 1: Figures for Voice and Voice™ and Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™

  • Expert coaching, feedback and strategies for practice

  • Estill Voiceprint™ practice of the Estill Figure Proficiency tasks

You will need your Level 1 & 2 course books and also access to the Estill Voiceprint™ software, which will be used throughout the course.

The course is delivered in English.

Please note that EFP certification is dependent on you passing the EFP exam, which must be arranged separately. The cost of the EFP exam is not included in this course.

Prerequisite

To enrol on the EFP Certification Pathway, you must have completed at least one Level 1 & 2: Figures for Voice & 6 Qualities™ Course and received a Certificate of Attendance.

About the trainer

Stefan Holmström EMCI is a professional opera singer and voice teacher. Following a career performing at Glyndebourne, Grange Park Opera, Opera Holland Park and as a member of the Phantom of the Opera Company at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, Stefan offers expert vocal training and workshops to a wide range of singers and speakers from his studio in central Brighton and across Europe.

He has also taught at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and is a singing voice specialist for the NHS Voice Clinic in Brighton.

Stefan's mentors within Estill include Paul Farrington, Anne-Marie Speed and Mary McDonald Klimek.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

In the event that you wish to cancel your place, you are entitled to the following refund:

  • 4 weeks or more in advance of start date = 90% refund

  • Between 1 and 4 weeks in advance of start date = 25% refund

  • Less than 1 week in advance of start date = no refund under any circumstances, including illness

We reserve the right to cancel this course should minimum enrolment numbers not be met before our start date. If we cancel the course, you will receive a full refund. However, please note that you will not be refunded for any additional expenses incurred.

This Certification Training Workshop is for anyone interested in becoming an EVT® Trainer. See the Instructor Notes above for more specific requirements.

  • Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 certificates of attendance; EFP certification is required before EMT certification. EMT certification is required before EMCI certification
  • Required Materials: Estill Voiceprint™, Level 1 & 2 Workbooks, Foundations of Estill Voice Training®
  • Recommended Materials: Estill Exercises App

Estill Voiceprint™ is highly recommended for this course. Add a discounted one-year annual subscription at the special registration rate of $60.00 (regularly $99/year). This special offer is available only at the time of course registration and applies to a one-year annual subscription. If you prefer a monthly subscription plan, you may subscribe separately through Estill Voiceprint™ after registration.

Estill Voiceprint™ is our browser-based voice analysis platform that allows you to see, hear, record, and play back your voice in real time. Used throughout Estill Level 1 & 2 courses, Estill Voiceprint™ helps bring the Estill "feel, see, hear" process to life through visual feedback and guided exploration.

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon completion of this workshop. This certificate is not a requirement for Trainer Certification in Estill Voice Training®.
