The Course Tuition is fee (GBP£390) is payable to The Voice Explained and does NOT include the Level 1 Resources Fee ($35.00USD) payable to Estill Voice International at the time of course registration. Overview:
Level in Estill Voice Training presented over one weekend by Anne-Marie Speed, one of Estill Voice International’s most experienced and qualified experts. This course will comprise the essential Estill information that makes up Level 1 (13 Figures) including a detailed overview of the anatomy & physiology, small group practice with guided individual feedback plus applicant in speaking and singing. The daily schedule will consist of lecture presentations, video research, audio & video examples, as well as teaching and training tips. Participants will divide into small practice groups throughout the day to receive coaching in the Figures & Voice Qualities. There will also be an Open Session in the evening which provides participants with an opportunity to sing a song or do a speech and receive expert coaching from Anne-Marie. Please note, there is not a requirement for everyone to get up during the Open Session but it is added as an invaluable opportunity to see the work applied.
Suitable For: Those new to the Estill Voice Training, anyone who working with the voice; singing teachers, professional singers, students and amateurs; voice, speech & drama teachers; actors; speech & language therapists with a special interest in voice, EFP and EMT candidates. Suitable for all styles of voice, singing & speaking plus clinical practice.

Session times: Day 1: 30 October - 6.00pm-9.00pm (18:00-21:00) Day 2: 31 October - 9.30am- 5.15pm (09:30-17:15) Day 2 Open Session: 5.20pm-6.00pm (17:20-18:00) Day 3: 1 November - 9.30am–5.30pm (09:30-17:30). Course ends 1 November 5.30pm (17:30)
Cancellation Policy:
In the event that a participant wishes to cancel their place on the course they are entitled to the following refund:
4 weeks or more = 90% refund
Between 4 -1 weeks = 25% refund
From 1 week to the day of event = no refund (under any circumstances, including illness)
Should The Voice Explained cancel a course, a full refund will be offered.

Registering for this course will automatically create an Estill Voice Online Academy account for you (if you do not already have one) and enroll you into both components of the Level 1 Course: 1) the self-directed Foundations of Estill Voice Training® and 2) the live online or on location Figures for Voice™ led by a certified EMCI.
Resource Fee including Foundations of Estill Voice Training®, PDF version of Level 1 Workbook, supporting materials, customer service and the Certificate of Attendance is payable to Estill Voice International at the time of registration: $150 USD (new student) $45 USD (returning student, already purchased Foundations of EVT®).
If you already have an Online Academy account and/or purchased Foundations of Estill Voice Training®, continue with registration using your Online Academy user email. Do not purchase Foundations again.

Level 1 teaches the Craft of speaking and singing. This course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists, and other vocal health professionals.
Your Level 1 journey to vocal empowerment starts with Foundations Estill Voice Training®. This completely self-directed online course will introduce you to our unique and powerful system for training the voice. Content includes:

- Short Readings
- Anatomical Diagrams
- Exploratory Vocal Exercises with Estill Voiceprint™
- Journal Reflections
The journey continues with Figures for Voice™ live online or on location with an EMCI. This live course component explores each Estill Figure (vocal structure) and includes:
- Level 1 Workbook™, Make & Move Larynx™, supporting handouts
- Introduction to 13 Figures for Voice™
- Vocal exercises for range, strength, clarity, and stamina
- Large and small group learning and discussions
- Masterclass/open coaching sessions for repertoire or case studies
Estill Voiceprint™ is highly recommended for this course. Add a discounted one-year annual subscription at the special registration rate of $60.00 (regularly $99/year). This special offer is available only at the time of course registration and applies to a one-year annual subscription. If you prefer a monthly subscription plan, you may subscribe separately through Estill Voiceprint™ after registration.
Estill Voiceprint™ is our browser-based voice analysis platform that allows you to see, hear, record, and play back your voice in real time. Used throughout Estill Level 1 & 2 courses, Estill Voiceprint™ helps bring the Estill "feel, see, hear" process to life through visual feedback and guided exploration.
A Level 1 Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon completion of both components of this Level 1 Course. This certificate is one of the requirements for Trainer Certification in Estill Voice Training®.
