Upcoming Courses
EMT: 2010
Starting of with Gospel singing, during high school as a first taste of Jazz, I joined the Landesjugend-Jazz-Orchestra at the age of 15 in Bavaria Germany.
Meanwhile I was also trained in classical singing. But Jazz being my passion, I studied Jazz Singing at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Ge Titular, Silvi Lane, Deborah Brown, Josee Koning and many more, and achieved my bachelor in 2008.
After the Conservatory, I worked as a singer/songwriter in Berlin and performed in classical and jazz venues as a solo singer and in vocal group formations such as the Bundesjugendjazzorchestra of Germany.
But I also wanted to see other parts of the world so I started working as a singer of Pop Cover Songs as well as classical music and Gospel and traveled in Egypt,Peru,Brasil, Greece, Spain and the Philippines.
Loving Brazilian music, I learned Portuguese living in Brasil for 3 years, as well as the pronunciation and various styles of Brazilian music. During my travels I also became an instructor for Kitesurfing, which I am teaching for 13 years now during summer season.
My passion was and will always be teaching anyone of every age how to move and separate muscles of the body and vocal system. Having struggled with the shift of styles once myself, getting into Estill Voce Training, over 10 years ago, helped me, to switch styles in an instant and I can relate very much to "non natural born singers".
Since 2005 I am teaching singers of all styles and voice actors, and I love to help any kind of professional who has to work with his/her voice.
What my students say about me:
endlessly patient, not judging, always in a good mood, natural born teacher
