Certification
Certification Overview
Under the Certification menu, you can select between Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) and Estill Master Trainer (EMT) to access the required Voiceprint Protocol tasks for each certification level. This section of Voiceprint includes customized controls designed to streamline the Estill Certification experience.
Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP)
Focuses on demonstrating control of the 13 Estill Figures and 6 Voice Qualities. This certification verifies foundational mastery of Estill Voice Training® concepts and is the first step in the certification pathway.
Estill Master Trainer (EMT)
Builds on EFP skills with a deeper understanding of Estill principles and pedagogy. EMTs are qualified to teach Estill Voice Training® courses under the supervision of a certified EMCI.
Accessing Certification Protocols

Click Certification in the top toolbar.

Select your level (EFP or EMT) to open the Certification Level Page and view the Voiceprint Protocol Task List.

Select High Voice or Low Voice to load a Voice Example. The example will open along with the Protocol Control Box.

Press Play to hear the example.
Important Behavior Notes

If you switch the Task from the dropdown menu inside the Protocol Control Box, you must re-select High Voice or Low Voice before playback.
Navigating to Other Examples
To load another example, click the current Task title (e.g., “1. Glottal on i || a || u”) to open the full task list and choose your next example.
The Certification Level Page also displays your recorded exams and any exams shared with you.
Creating a New Exam

Click Certification → select EFP or EMT to access the Certification Level Page.

Choose the My Exams tab.

Type a name for your new exam in the text box at the top of the page.

Click + Add Exam. Your new exam will appear in the list below.

Expand the full Voiceprint Protocol Task List.

Click any task to open the Protocol Control Box.

Press the microphone button to record the task (e.g., “1. Glottal on i || a || u”).

Press the white square to stop.
After recording, you may:

Re-record
-
Save
-
Play back
-
Add a note
Use the dropdown menu to move to your next task. Saved tasks will display a green checkmark. Continue recording and saving until all required tasks are complete.
When you’re finished, click the X in the top-right corner of the Protocol Control Box.
Your exam is automatically saved in My Exams, where you can review, edit, or prepare it for sharing.
Reviewing Individual Files and Notes

To review a specific recording, click the folder icon next to the task. This loads the Voiceprint recording for playback and analysis.

To read comments or notes, click the page icon in the Protocol Control Box.
These tools make it easy to assess progress, revisit specific exercises, and review instructor feedback before submission.
Sharing an Exam

In My Exams, click the share icon next to the exam title.

Enter the email address of your evaluator, mentor, or instructor.

Click Share.
Once shared:

The share icon turns green.

The recipient will see the exam under the Shared tab.
To stop sharing:

Click the green share icon → select “Yes, Stop Sharing.”
it would be great if you could add a tab, describing a perfect analysis of VPP for each figure/quality.
