The Level 1 and 2 Course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists and other vocal health professionals. Level 1: Figures for Voice Control™ teaches the Craft of speaking and singing and employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles. Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ combines Figure options from Level 1 to produce six voice qualities--Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belt. This course offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy. This live course explores each Estill Figure (vocal structure) and Estill Voice Quality (“recipe”) and includes:

  • Level 1 Workbook™, Make & Move Larynx™, Level 2Workbook™, supporting handouts
  • Introduction to Level 1: 13 Figures for Voice Control™

Overview:  Levels 1&2 in Estill Voice Training presented by one of Estill Voice International’s most experienced and qualified experts. This five day course will comprise the essential Estill information, Level 1 (13 Figures) and Level 2 (6 Voice Qualities) and will also include Anne-Marie’s short introduction to Diction, a detailed overview of the anatomy & physiology as well as a dedicated vocal health session. The daily schedule will consist of lecture presentations, video research, audio & video examples, as well as teaching and training tips. Participants will divide into small practice groups throughout the day to receive coaching in the Figures & Voice Qualities. There will also be an Open Session in the evening which provides participants with an opportunity to sing a song or do a speech and receive expert coaching from Anne-Marie. Please note, there is not a requirement for everyone to get up during the Open Session but it is added as an invaluable opportunity to see the work applied.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that a participant wishes to cancel their place on the course they are entitled to the following refund:

4 weeks or more = 90% refund

Between 4 -1 weeks = 25% refund

From 1 week to the day of event = no refund (under any circumstances, including illness)

Should The Voice Explained cancel a course, a full refund will be offered.
