Ian Lebofsky has been a professional singer/musician for 45 years and a voice teacher for 35 years. He started out singing in rock, R&B and pop bands, toured Canada and the southeastern US with several lounge/dance acts as a singer/keyboardist. He worked as a touring back-up singer for Ginette Reno including performances at Montreal s Place Des Arts and the National Arts Center in Ottawa. He also appeared in two professional musical theater productions; The Drunkard at Phoenix theater and Angel at the Centaur. He sang with a Vocal Jazz quartet (a la Manhattan transfer) for five years and later started working as a studio singer appearing on many radio and TV commercials. He presently teaches EVTS privately and to small groups at his own voice studio in Montreal and directs 4 choirs. He has assisted at several EVTS intensives in Boston, Montreal and Quebec city.
