Trainer Profile

Based in Northern Ireland, Carla has a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy with Distinction from the Voice Study Centre and University of Wales Trinity St. David and runs a successful business entering children for London College of Music exams, local festivals and competitions. Carla also coaches adults in her private studio and offers mentoring for EFP certification with McLaren Scott Vocals. Research interests include the female adolescent voice change process and inclusive practice. Recently, Carla's paper entitled "The Female Voice in Flux: Exploring the Psychological Constructs of Identity and Control in Relation to the Changing Female Voice during Puberty" was published in the Voice and Speech Review.
