Gemma Boaden is a voice specialist, actress and soft tissue therapist. She trained at Rose Bruford College on the BA(Hons) Acting Course in 2002, she is an Estill Master Trainer (EMT) and a Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist specialising in laryngeal manipulation. She has worked in the West End, in No 1 Touring Theatre Companies, Film, Voice-Over and Commercials. As a voice coach she has worked with the Almeida, Gazebo Theatre Company, Tambai Promotions, Wizard Presents Theatre Company, and the Royal & Derngate Theatres. Gemma loves telling stories and changing hearts.
Gemma has been an EMT since 2018 and was the Head of Voice at University of Northamptons' Acting programme from 2014 - 2025. Gemma is now freelance with her private clinic for both voice coaching, sports and remedial massage therapy and laryngeal manipulation. Gemma is currently completing her PhD studies in Voice through the practice as research pathway and her research explores voice as an integral part of character creation.
