I graduated in Musical Theatre at Eòlia Centre Superior d’Arts Escèniques (Barcelona). I continued my studies at Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya – ESMUC (Barcelona), where I received a BA in Singing Education, studying Early Music and Jazz Singing. I hold an MA in Research in Education (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), specializing in Art, Body, and Movement and researching new methodologies and transdisciplinary contemporary creation processes. I also hold a BA in Humanities by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Barcelona). I am finishing my PhD at Royal Holloway University of London (UK) on mergings and intertwinements between the human and the non-human in Performing Arts.

As an actor, I have broad experience in children’s musical and puppet plays. I have been cast in theatre for adults, such as Banal Sessions of Fedra (dir. Pau Miró, Best Show Award in 11th Mostra de Teatre in Barcelona), Joves Extraordinaris (dir. Glòria Balañà), part of the European project UTOPIES, and Digue’m la Veritat (dir. Josep Galindo and Pablo Ley), showcased at the Grec Festival in Barcelona. I also work as a Street Theatre actor, in the field of fiction and commercials, and have done the voice-over for several independent documentaries.

I combine my artistic practice with my job as a vocal coach. I have been teaching singing and music and directing choirs in several musical schools around Barcelona for over a decade. I also participated in Community Arts Projects as a vocal coach and facilitator, with a special interest in bringing different arts together to allow a more complete vision of the person as an artist.

As a vocal coach, I like to help my students develop the ability to understand their instrument and its connection with the body. I like to work with different styles and pay close attention to the performative and emotional arch of what the students are singing. Currently, I am teaching Individual and Group Vocal Technique at the BA in Musical Theatre and Performing Art at Eòlia Centre Superior d’Art Dramàtic (Barcelona).
